
Queen Of Hearts Door Prize
American Legion Post 150 will be holding our Queen of Hearts Door Prize drawing this Thursday night with a progressive cash prize that is currently sitting at $4925! Due to the size of the pot and the high level of attendance, Door Prize tickets will only be distributed until we have reached our capacity. YOU MUST BE PRESENT to receive a ticket. Door Prize tickets are FREE and distribution ends when tickets run out (but no later than 7:00 PM). Drawing will be held at 7:30 PM and YOU MUST BE PRESENT to participate.
Rules of for the Queen Of Hearts Door Prize event are as follows:
1. You MUST be at least 21 years old to participate
2. You MUST be present to participate
3. Limit 1 door prize ticket per participant
The lucky participant of the ticket drawn gets to select 1 card from the playing board. If the Queen of Hearts is drawn they win 100% of the current door prize amount. If the participant does not draw the Queen of Hearts, they get a consolation prize and the door prize amount grows by $1 for every ticket involved with that current drawing.

Join Post 150 on Saturday for our weekly Bingo event! Game card sales start at 11:00 AM and the games begin at Noon! Be sure to arrive early to purchase your game cards and secure your seat!

NOTICE: Waconia American Legion Post 150 will be closed starting at 6:00 PM on July 9th to host a MEMBERS ONLY EVENT for our Legionnaires, Auxiliary, and Sons Of The American Legion.

Steak & Walleye Dinner
Join Post 150 on Saturday July 12th for a meal that includes your choice of either a steak or walleye, baked potato, coleslaw, bread, and all the fixings! Great fellowship, great food, and all for just $20! Hope to see you at the club!

Breakfast Buffet
Join Post 150 on Sunday July 20th for a great breakfast buffet that is only $15 for adults, $10 for kids 6 to 12 years old, and $5 for kids 5 and under! This all you can eat meal includes a build your own omelet bar, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage links, biscuits & sausage gravy, white or wheat toast, pancakes, a selection of pastries, fruit salad, juice, milk, and coffee. Great fellowship, great food, and all a! We hope to see you there!

Waconia Band Festival & Food Tent
Waconia will be hosting their annual marching band festival on Saturday June 21st and American Legion Post 150 will be serving hot dogs, wings, and fries! Please join us to watch the festival as the bands march down Main Street and enjoy some great food. The food sales will be located outside, and we will have both indoor and outdoor seating!

Flag Day
The Flag Resolution of 1777, passed by the Continental Congress on June 14, officially established the "Stars and Stripes" as the national flag of the United States. Celebrate the birthday of our flag be sure to bringing your worn, faded, torn or soiled flag to Post 150 to be retired and then purchasing a replacement from us.
Legion Post 150 & SAL Squadron 150 Regular Meeting
Legion Post 150 and SAL Squadron 150 will be holding their regular club meeting on May 14th starting at 7:00 pm.

Veterans Council Regular Meeting
The Carver County Veterans Council will holding their regular monthly meeting at Chaska VFW Post 1791 Legion on June 5th starting at 7:00 pm.

Flag Retirement Ceremony
Chaska VFW Post 1791 will holding a flag retirement ceremony on June 5th starting at 6:30 pm. The community is encouraged to bringing their tattered flags to Waconia American Legion. Simply place the worn flags into our collection box prior to this event to ensure that your flags will be retired with honor and dignity, and in the manner prescribed per the code of flag etiquette.

Auxiliary Unit 150 Regular Meeting
Auxiliary Unit 150 will be holding their regular club meeting on June 4th starting at 7:00 pm.

Memorial Day Services
Join American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 5462 on Monday, May 26th to pay tribute to those who fought and died in battle for our great country. The event begins at 10:45 am with a parade that starts at the intersection of South Vine Street & West Main Street and ends at City Square Park. American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 5462 will then host a formal Memorial Day Service in City Square Park starting at 11:00 AM. The services will feature the following:

Voice Of Democracy Speech – “Is America Today Our Forefather’s Vision”
Keynote Speaker Major Juan Perez Of The Minnesota Army National Guard
“Remember & Honor” Program By American Legion Post 150
Color Guard Salute To The Fallen
After the formal ceremony has concluded, the community is invited to a free picnic at the American Legion Post 150 club located at 4 East Main Street. The picnic includes hot dogs with all the fixings, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato chips, pickle spears, and lemonade! Free will donations to support the mission of the American Legion will be accepted during the picnic!
NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled, and the Memorial Services will be held in the Bayview Elementary gym.

Sister Saturday At Post 150
Join Post 150 this coming Saturday May 10th as we participate in Sister Saturday with some great drink specials! Be sure to check out the Sister Saturday Information Page on the Chamber of Commerce website for details!
