Join American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 5462 on Monday, May 26th to pay tribute to those who fought and died in battle for our great country. The event begins at 10:45 am with a parade that starts at the intersection of South Vine Street & West Main Street and ends at City Square Park. American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 5462 will then host a formal Memorial Day Service in City Square Park starting at 11:00 AM. The services will feature the following:

Voice Of Democracy Speech – “Is America Today Our Forefather’s Vision”
Keynote Speaker Major Juan Perez Of The Minnesota Army National Guard
“Remember & Honor” Program By American Legion Post 150
Color Guard Salute To The Fallen
After the formal ceremony has concluded, the community is invited to a free picnic at the American Legion Post 150 club located at 4 East Main Street. The picnic includes hot dogs with all the fixings, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato chips, pickle spears, and lemonade! Free will donations to support the mission of the American Legion will be accepted during the picnic!
NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled, and the Memorial Services will be held in the Bayview Elementary gym.
