Color Guard Mission

The mission of the Color Guard is to provide the following services within our community:

  • HONORING THE FLAG: Of primary importance is the proper presentation and honoring of the American flag, as well as the POW/MIA flag, state flag, and veteran service organization flags.

  • CEREMONIAL EVENTS: The Color Guard participates ceremonies within our community such as military funerals, parades, school events, and sporting events.

  • COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: The Color Guard contributes to community by providing a patriotic presence and demonstrating the proper respect for the flag and military traditions. The emphasis is to set an example of the proper protocol, dignity, and style associated with formal presentations of our nations flags.

Our ranks are composed of our member volunteers who donate their time and services solely as a patriotic duty to honor our country, our active-duty military, and our Veterans.
