The Viking Battalion Presentation

SAL Squadron 150 will be hosting a FREE World War II history presentation regarding the 99th Infantry Battalion on Thursday May 7th at 7:00 PM in the Waconia Middle School auditorium.

Keynote speakers will Olaf Minge and Dr. Kyle Ward who are co-authors of the book The Viking Battalion. This event will also include guest presenters from the following organizations:

  • Waconia Sons Of The American Legion Squadron 150

  • Waconia American Legion Post 150

  • Sons of Norway

  • Norway House

  • MN Military & Veterans Museum at Camp Ripley

Historical information and artifacts will be available for viewing in the school lobby during the event, and The Sons of Norway will also be serving complimentary food and beverages after the event. Be sure to mark your calendars!
