Proudly Serving Veterans, Active Duty Military, Their Families, & The Community Since 1920
A Long History Of Service
On September 1st of 1919 an organizational meeting was held by 29 area Veterans to discuss the possibility of forming a local American Legion Post. 7 days later, those veterans submitted their application for a Post Charter. Upon receiving a temporary charter, they held their first official meeting on September 19th of 1919. Just over a year later, on November 29th of 1920, the American Legion National Commander finally signed the official charter for Post 150 and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
